WORSHIP MINISTRIES

Hosanna Choir - This choir for adults and high school youth provides choral music of many styles to complement worship and special events. We have lots of fun. Lisa Griffin 715-222-4558.

Spirit Song - This is our contemporary worship praise band. Add your vocal or instrumental talent to our group during weekend services. Auditions are required. Lisa Griffin.

Worship Assistant - Participate with the pastors in preparing and leading worship. Attend to the details that make worship flow smoothly. Pastor Menk 273-4617.

Altar Guild - Care for the altar area. Prepare bread and wine for Holy Communion. Set up and decorate for the changing seasons and special services. Bev Greeley 273-4408

Drama - Perform brief skits/readings during worship to support the day’s theme. Participate in a major musical/play for Christian fellowship & outreach. Pastor Stockness 273-4617.

HOSPITALITY TEAMS - These friendly helpful people are what makes our church a welcoming place. There is a Hospitality Team for each of the three Sunday worship times.  Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for a month at a time.  The following three tasks are what make up the work of Hospitality Teams.  Contact the church office with your willingness to serve. 273-4617

Greeters - offer a warm handshake and a big smile. Providing information to guests.

Ushers - Distribute bulletins, assist with seating people, direct the flow of people to Holy Communion, pick up our worship area between services.

Communion Server - assist in distribution of bread or wine.

WorshipTech Support - Monitor the soundboard, run PowerPoint and projection equipment. Training provided.  Contact Lisa Griffin.

Worship and Music Team - Serve on the ministry team that plans and directs our worship life.  Contact Lisa Griffin.

Parking Lot - Direct parking, providing a smooth traffic flow, welcoming and assisting guests.  Contact the church office.  273-4617

Funeral Ushers - Provide hospitality at funerals by greeting and ushering mourners. Contact the church office.  273-4617

CARE MINISTRIES

Befrienders - Make yourself available as a listening and supportive friend for people experiencing life’s many transitions. Pastor Stockness 273-4617

Care Notes - Order and display Care Cards available at the entrances to the church. These cards provide short, inspirational messages on a variety of personal topics. Judi Nielsen 273-4617

Card Ministry - Send personal greetings of care and concern to people who are hurting.

Funeral Lunches - Bake cakes and/or help serve meals at funerals. Kathy Barber 273-4455

Prayer Team - Meet together to pray for church and community concerns. Encourage and offer opportunities for others to grow in their devotional life. Pastor Stockness 273-4617.

Grief Support - Meet as needed to support one another through old and new griefs. Pastor Stockness 273-4617.

Celebrate Recovery - Gather for support in a Christian ministry of "Recovery Living" for anyone who seeks recovery from hurts, hang-ups, or bad habits that keep them from having joy, peace, hope and love in everyday life. Pastor Stockness 273-4617.

Building Repair and Maintenance - Give hands-on help in keeping our church facilities in good working order. Pastor Menk 273-4617

Landscape / Gardening – Help beautify the church grounds by maintaining the gardens, trees, and shrubs on our church property. Hans Ostergaard 273-3160

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
To get involved with any of the following Children's Ministries, contact our Children's Education Director Jean Krauss at 273-4617.

Sunday School Teacher - Prepare and present fun and interesting Bible lessons for elementary and pre-school children on Sunday mornings at  9:15 a.m. 

Sunday School Helper - Assist the teachers and students as needed. 

Vacation Bible School - Teach/assist with a week of Vacation Bible School.

Children’s Choir Helper - Assist in supervising Children’s Choir. Contact Deb Kopp at 273-4617.

Nursery Assistant - Assist the Nursery Supervisor in caring for little children and infants. Contact Pam Pazdernik.

YOUTH MINISTRIES 
To get involved with any of the following Youth Ministries contact our Youth Director Deanna Traynor at 792-5357.

Youth Ministry Team - Adults and youth plan and organize youth activities.

The Youth House - Sign up to help supervise young people weekday afternoons. Training available.

Chaperone Youth Events - Adults hang out with kids at youth activities and/or retreats.

Fund Raising - Adults organize and assist youth with fund raising for their trips and activities.

Confirmation Small Group Guides - Adults befriend and mentor middle school youth in their faith.

Transportation - Adults provide rides to youth activities away from church.

Cooking - Prepare a simple meal for High School Youth nights held every Wednesday.

Summer Mission Trips - Adults accompany high school youth on mission trip as work group leaders or crew members.

ADULT GROWTH AND SERVICE MINISTRIES

Women’s Group - W/ELCA - Gather with women of the church to study scripture, make quilts for Lutheran World Relief, assemble school kits, health kits, and engage in many and various mission and service projects. Kathy Barber 273-4455

Friendship Team - Reach out to new people, make personal contact, host Class 101: Discovering Church Membership. Pastor Menk 273-4617.

Health Ministries Team - Join with others interested in encouraging good physical as well as spiritual health in our congregation. Find ways we can be prepared in the event of a community health crisis. Pastory Stockness 273-4617.

Discipleship Ministry - Encourage adults to grow in Christ through small group Bible studies and host Class 201: Discovering Spiritual Maturity. Pastor Menk 273-4617.

Ministry Development Team - Encourage adults to discover and use their unique gifts for ministry, host Class 301: Discovering My Ministry. Pastor Menk 273-4617.

Alpha Team - Help implement a course of study for adults which will introduce new and renewing Christians to the basics of the Christian faith through an exciting class called Alpha.   Serve as a leader, helper, kitchen staff, video technician, child care provider. Pastor Menk 273-4617

FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES FOR ADULTS

Softball Team - Join the summer church softball league as a player for English Lutheran Church. Ninth grade through adult. Call Ben or Terry Gaard 273-5311
