OUR COMPANIONS IN MALAWI
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Malawi, Africa
From July 1-18, 2007 Pastor Harlen Menk and English Lutheran Church member, Bobbie Sawyers, took a spiritual journey to Malawi Africa with three others from the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin, ELCA. They visited Lutheran parishes throughout the southern part of Malawi, with a personal visit to Pastor Justin Mofolo and the Chileka Mission Area which is located north of the city of Blantyre, Malawi.
A Malawi Companionships Team is developing to give direction to our congregation's companionship with the Chileka Mission Area of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Malawi, Africa. Contact Bobbie Sawyers at 273-4454 to discuss how you can be part of this exciting opportunity.
