SENIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP
“You Were Made To Make A Difference”
Wednesday, September 8, 15, 22 & 29 from 5-7 p.m. at the Youth House
Supper will be served at 5 p.m. followed by music, game and an exciting new Bible study series! Do you ever feel like there is more to life? Do you wonder if you can you really make a difference in the world? Do you ever wonder where you fit into the church? Deep down, everyone wants to make a difference! We will be going out into our community doing a lot of different service projects! Be a part of impacting your community for Christ! If you are in 9th grade and in confirmation come join us! If you are in sports come after practice. If you have no where to hang out from 3-5 you can come to the youth house but ONLY if you are staying for youth group - I may put you to work preparing supper! BRING YOUR FRIENDS!

Youth and adults will be giving testimonies about this years mission trip to Belfast, Maine and other youth activities! Please join us for a very inspiring morning!

“Dan Dan the Busman” and Nicole Hager were blessed with the birth of their daughter Jocelyn Mae on July 30, 2010. They named her after our dear friend Jocelyn Marhoun who passed away last March from Diabetes. Come and meet Jocelyn Mae! We are going to celebrate her birth with good food, laughter and hanging out with Dan and his family! Everyone that has had their life enriched by Jocelyn M. or by Dan & Nicole are invited to celebrate a new life! Let’s show Dan how much we love him and his family! It will be a ton of fun, it always is when Dan is with us!
DEEP IMPACT HIGH SCHOOL RETREAT
October 8-10 at Three Crosses Retreat Center - for ALL high school youth!
Do you want to make a Deep Impact in the lives of your friends and family? If so, you may be someone God is calling to become a “Deep Impact” student! Learn how to deal with teen issues by becoming a leader that can make a difference! Some of the teen issues we will discuss and learn about are: self-esteem, leading by encouraging, facing temptations, dealing with conflicts, friends helping friends, and lots more! Candlelight prayer service, Sunday morning worship by the youth, free time to hang out with your friends! Everyone is a potential Deep Impact leader... One life touched by God can change the world! Once you are a “Deep Impact” student you will have many opportunities to use what you learn - some examples: Be part of the Youth Ministry team, help plan and lead the Confirmation retreat, Confirmation guide mentor, Sunday school helper/teacher, Leader on mission trips, Much, much more!!! This will be a weekend you won’t want to miss! You will make many lasting memories! This retreat will count towards 9th graders Confirmation requirements. Fliers are on bulletin board across from the church office or in the youth house!

If any adult or high school youth are interested in being a part of this rewarding ministry please show up at the meeting - we would LOVE to have you! We talk about what’s happening and plan for future activities! We have a lot of fun!
YOUTH HOUSE VOLUNTEERS - If you LOVE youth here is your chance to hang out with them and have some fun! Adults ages 18-100 are needed to help supervise the Youth House. Talk to Deanna. Call her at 792-5357 or 273-4617 for more info.
WANTED: Used Injet cartridges (No Laser or Epson). Bring them to the Youth Room and leave in the designated box. We earn up to $3.00 each!
ALUMINUM CAN DRIVE: Drop off your aluminum cans in the container in the back of the South parking lot. We collect cans year around. Thank you, everyone, for your donations.
