Alpha is for:
Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. Adults of all ages are welcome.
Learning and laughter. It is possible to learn about the Christian faith and to have fun at the same time.
People meeting together. An opportunity to get to know others and to make new friends.
Helping one another. The small groups give you a chance to discuss issues raised during the talks. You’ll make new friends!
Asking anything! Alpha is a place where no question is seen as too simple or too hostile.

Alpha is for everyone!  It’s especially geared to:

  1. People interested in investigating Christianity to learn what it’s about
  2. Newcomers to the church
  3. New Christians
  4. Couples preparing for marriage
  5. Christians who want to brush up on the basics of their faith

When and Where? 
We meet weekly on Monday evenings for ten weeks at Clyde's Corner. Also included is a Friday-Saturday weekend away. This is a key part of the course, as well as being great fun. The course is led by a team of people who have completed the course. 

Each evening begins with supper at 5:30 pm ($1 burger at Clyde's, each participant is responsible for their own meal), includes a captivating video presentation by Nicky Gumbel, the author of the Alpha course, and ends with an opportunity to meet in small groups to discuss what we’ve learned and to ask questions. Except for the weekend away, all meetings will take place at Clyde's Corner in Beldenville, WI. We end each evening promptly at 8:30 pm.

Friday evening (supper) through Saturday afternoon (4:00 p.m.) at Three Crosses Retreat Center. Fun and games, relaxing and informal.  Learn about the Holy Spirit from Nicky Gumbel.  Discussion groups, prayer time, Holy Communion.  Don't miss this.  It's the best part of Alpha.
