Holy Communion at English Lutheran Church is open to all who are baptized. Instruction for those who are interested in participating in and learning more about the sacrament of Holy Communion will be held on Thursdays after school, starting February 19 and ending April 2. All fifth grade children are strongly encouraged to participate. Younger and older children may also participate with pastoral approval.
Classes take place Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 pm.
A celebration of Holy Communion will be held Maundy Thursday, April 1. There will be no class on March 18, during spring break.
A special meeting for parents of children taking the class will be held Thursday evening, February 4 at 7:00 pm. The registration fee of $15 will be collected at the parents meeting. Registration forms are available at the church office. Children may also be registered online by submitting the form below.
