Seven youth and three adults have been preparing for our trip to the Superior Hiking Trail in June for a few days of backpacking, exploring, faith and fellowship. In April, the group headed to Red Wing to do a practice hike on Barn Bluff with loaded backpacks. They plan to do one more practice hike in May before the official trip, June 3-7.

The Superior Hiking Trail is a 310-mile long hiking trail in northeastern Minnesota that follows the rocky ridges overlooking Lake Superior for most of its length. The trail travels through forests of birch, aspen, pine, fir, and cedar.
