Children ages 3 through 6th grade can join us on Sunday mornings. Children will worship with their families and then when they go up for communion or a blessing with their families before being dismissed with their teachers to classrooms.  Class times will include some large group lesson time, large group activity, and music.

Kingdom Kids is for 4K through 5th grade students on the first Wednesday of the month after school 3:30 to 5:00 PM. We will have a bus bring the EES kids right from school. We will have a snack, sing songs, play games and learn about God! New this year: Supper for children and their families at 5:00 p.m.

Confirmation began (6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.) with orientation and registration on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Please contact us to learn more about our confirmation program. Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:30 in the lower level of the church. All are welcome!

Pastor Pete is cooking breakfast on Thursday mornings for the guys. We will gather in the church kitchen at 8:00 am for a breakfast with a rotating menu including fruit, coffee, and orange juice. Oatmeal will also be available. The suggested donation is $5.00 to help cover the cost of food. After we are done eating, we will pitch in to clean up. (THERE WILL NOT BE ANY HELD IN NOVEMBER.)

English Lutheran Church will continue the tradition of sharing Thanksgiving baskets with families in need within our community, so that, they too might sit down as a family to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. This is an opportunity to not only bless but be blessed in putting together Thanksgiving baskets for those who need them.

English Lutheran Church has a “Sharing Shed.” This is a place you can come to drop off items you wish to donate to someone in need. No electronics, only necessities. Our shed is a small garden shed, so smaller items only, no furniture. Thank you for your generosity!

It is also a place you can come to take items you are in need of. There is no charge and no strings attached. The shed is not locked and can be accessed at any time. The Sharing Shed is located just outside the back entrance of the church. Please feel free to help yourself at any time.

If you have a loved one who is going through a tough time and could use the comfort of being wrapped in prayers with a blanket/shawl, you may provide a prayer shawl for them.

Please contact the church office if you need a shawl. There is no cost for the shawl.
